01. Introduction

These Terms govern your use of the PUPS website and services. By accessing the site or booking services, you agree to these Terms.

02. Services Provided

PUPS offers dog walking, group adventures, private walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and pet transportation. Availability may vary based on staffing, safety, and weather.

03. Website Use

You agree not to:
  • Interfere with or disrupt website functionality
  • Copy website material without permission
  • Upload harmful or abusive content

04. Bookings, Payments & Fees

All bookings are managed through Time To Pet or directly via communication with us. Payment terms, late fees, cancellation fees, and holiday rates follow the policies outlined in your signed Client Agreement.

05. Cancellation & Schedule Policies

Walk lengths may vary based on safety, heat, ice, storms, wildlife, and trail conditions. Cancellations made outside the required notice period may incur fees.

06. Behaviour & Health Requirements

Clients must disclose:
  • Reactivity or aggression
  • Health issues
  • Medication requirements
  • Special handling needs
Failure to disclose may result in termination of services.

07. Limitation of Liability

While PUPS prioritizes safety, clients acknowledge that:
  • Dogs participate at their own risk
  • PUPS is not responsible for injuries due to dog behaviour, environmental conditions, wildlife, or third parties
  • PUPS is not liable for damages caused by client-provided equipment (collars, harnesses, leashes)
  • Third-party service providers (hosting, analytics, email systems)

08. Emergency Veterinary Care

In emergencies, we may:
  • Seek veterinary care
  • Transport pets to a clinic
  • Contact emergency contacts
Clients are responsible for all associated costs.

09. Photo and Media Rights

You grant PUPS permission to use images of your dog(s) for:
  • Updates
  • Website content
  • Social media
  • Marketing
You may opt out anytime.

10. GPS Tracking

GPS may be used to track walks for safety and transparency. This data is not published or shared outside required business use.

11. Intellectual Property

All branding, photos, videos, text, and website materials are owned by PUPS and may not be used without written permission.

12. Third-Party Services

We may link to:
  • Time To Pet
  • Google Analytics
  • Social media platforms
Each operates under its own terms and policies.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee:
  • Uninterrupted service
  • Error-free content
  • Specific availability of services or dates

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia.
